This beautiful Tjalk “Hoop op Zegen” is the new addition to our flat-bottomed rental fleet. An excellent traditional, classic Tjalk built in 1898 which is in top condition. With a draft of 70cm, the boat is extremely suitable for the Frisian lakes and the Wadden Sea. Sailing performance is great and has a reliable, well-maintained engine. In short: a cozy and very suitable flat-bottomed boat for events, weekends and holidays on the water.

Fact: in 2018 the Hoop op Zegen was registered in the Sailing Heritage Netherlands register!

The Tjalk can easily be operated by two people. It has a new and reliable diesel engine and tiller control. The tjalk has a mainsail, a foresail and foresail on the fly that can be hoisted. The mast is 17m and easy to lower with a laying device so that you can easily sail under bridges. This 12.92m long sailboat is very suitable for rental and it is easy to sail on the Frisian Lakes and the Wadden Sea.

In the spacious cabin, six people can comfortably sit, drink a beer, eat together and enjoy the evening in the harbor.


The ship has all the necessary amenities. For example, the Tjalk has fast and modern heating and a hot water system. The spacious galley is fully equipped including a large refrigerator, gas stove and oven. The spacious lounge has an extendable dining table for 5-6 people with a spacious sofa, plenty of storage space in built-in cupboards, a table and a cozy wood-burning stove. The toilet can be found adjacent to this.

The bathroom with bath is located on the port side. In the bow there are 2x double cabins and 1x a single cabin. In addition, in the day room (headroom 1.50m) is a spacious and comfortable sofa which can be used as a single sofa bed.
